The team at Motiv Design commissioned Boston based Director Tim Llewellyn, along with his production company Copper Hound Pictures, to help iRobot launch their new j7 Roomba robot vacuum. The team shot over the course of two days, capturing interviews with lead designers as well as extensive B-roll throughout the iRobot HQ.
The goal of the shoot was to create something inspirational that gives a deeper background and understanding of iRobot’s j7 product, its new design, why it was created, and the ultimate benefits to the consumer. Through a combination of product focused video and interview style narratives with the team that created the j7, Tim and his team helped position iRobot as the leader in Robotic floorcare and give audiences insight into the company’s mission while maintaining a unique and authentic brand voice.
